•Early Warning Indicatiors of Escalating Frozen Conflicts

Principal investigator: Miloš Balabán

The project aims to create a methodologically precise, informed on theory, well-founded, time saving and usable method of indicators of escalating frozen conflicts monitoring. This method will enable competent state authorities to use the latest research results during monitoring of frozen conflicts in regions of interest and provide an early warning of a possible escalation of these conflicts.

• Targeted applied research of new advanced technologies, methods and procedures to increase the level of skills of the FRS-CAVHZS

Funded by: Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic

Targeted applied research of new advanced technologies, methods and procedures to increase the level of security of states and citizens including urgent and long-term measures for the security of citizens such as warning, protection of a collective or an individual, protection from a source of ionizing radiation, hazardous chemicals, and weapons of mass destruction. Also to minimize the consequences of crises and to increase the level of skills of the fire rescue service of the Czech Republic.

• Guidance for research organization protection against infringement of national economic security 

Principal investigator: Jan Ludvík

Funded by: Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic

The project designs an operationally useful, easily understandable, and simply deployable while simultaneously efficient guidance for protection of research organizations against adverse activity of foreign powers and other subjects that are trying to dig information about research organizations' activities, which are or might be valuable for nation's economic security and prosperity.
